HiveMind Selected for the ‘Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project’

AI subtitle, translation, and dubbing localization specialist HiveMind (CEO Warren Kim) announced on the 20th that it has been selected as a final participant in the “2025 Super Gap Startup 1000+ Project (Micro DIPS)” organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

This marks HiveMind’s second consecutive selection for a major government AI support program, following its April recognition as an AI supplier in the AI Voucher Support Project, underscoring its technological excellence and commercial potential.

The Micro DIPS program selects AI-focused startups across five major sectors—Bio, Content, Manufacturing, Finance, and Smart Agriculture—and provides five months of intensive commercialization and validation support.

About 90 companies were chosen for this year’s cohort. Through the project, HiveMind will build an “all-in-one localization platform for virtual creators.”
This platform integrates automatic subtitle generation, multilingual translation, editing, and distribution into a single AI-driven workflow, allowing content creators, broadcasters, and OTT platforms to communicate globally without language or cultural barriers.

Uniquely, the project emphasizes real-world market testing and commercialization through consortium partnerships with client companies.
HiveMind has signed a strategic partnership with Parable Entertainment (CEO Kim Young-bi), a leading virtual entertainment company operating virtual IPs such as ‘Isegye Idol,’ ‘Psychord,’ and ‘IRiZE,’ which achieved KRW 20.9 billion in sales in 2024.

Using HiveMind’s real-time AI subtitle, translation, and dubbing technologies, the two companies plan to publish multilingual content simultaneously, apply AI subtitles and translations to virtual concerts and fan events, and help virtual creators overcome global content production barriers, creating new consumption experiences.

CEO Warren Kim said: “We will help independent creators and small content companies enter global markets without language barriers by drastically reducing production time and costs through AI technology. Our collaboration with Parable Entertainment will redefine the standard workflow for creator industries and expand the strengths of Korean language content worldwide.”

Based on the results of this project, HiveMind will receive preferential consideration for next year’s DIPS and Beyond DIPS programs and plans to expand into industry-specific markets such as global OTT, MCN, and education sectors.
